Throughout the first quarter, Beijer Alma’s companies demonstrated strong resilience in a market shaped by geopolitical uncertainty. Activity levels strengthened progressively, particularly in North America and the Nordic region, contributing to organic growth in both revenue and order intake, alongside improved profitability across both business areas.
Performance within Beijer Components
Profitability improved during the quarter as a result of the action plan implemented in 2025, contributing positively to Beijer Alma’s overall margin expansion. This was achieved despite a 5% decrease in net revenue within Beijer Components, including a 1% organic decline, reflecting a deliberate strategic decision to exit less profitable business areas corresponding to approximately MSEK 50.
Reflecting on the quarter, CFO of Beijer Components, Filip Ribbenberg, commented: “Our model works. Beijer Components not only delivered a strong first quarter result, but more importantly, we have sequentially improved our performance over the last three years.
Looking ahead, the focus remains on identifying new business opportunities, safeguarding profitability, and ensuring that capital is used efficiently.”
Driving value through decentralisation
Beijer Alma continues to build on its decentralised operating model, where each company develops based on its own market expertise and local presence. This approach remains central to sustaining strong customer relationships, operational agility, and long-term profitable growth.
Beijer Components – building on a strong foundation
The transition from Lesjöfors to Beijer Components marks a strategic step in strengthening the Beijer Alma Group’s international growth ambitions. Building on Lesjofors’ well-established heritage, Beijer Components is expanding its platform to support a broader acquisition agenda and enter new segments.
The focus remains on acquiring well-managed, niche companies where technical expertise and long-standing customer relationships drive sustainable profitability. To support this, Beijer Components has further strengthened its local acquisition capabilities, with an initial focus on the European market.
Outlook
With a stable portfolio of well-managed companies and a clear strategic direction, Beijer Alma, supported by Beijer Components, is well positioned for continued growth.
The Beijer Alma Group remains focused on expanding into new markets and niches while further enhancing capital efficiency, providing a strong platform for the remainder of 2026.
