The strength behind Beijer Components
Beijer Components is part of Beijer Alma, a listed Swedish industrial group that acquires, owns and develops successful niche businesses for the long term.
- Our parent company
A foundation for long-term growth.
Beijer Alma’s decentralized model combines the entrepreneurial freedom, speed and customer focus of independently managed businesses with the stability, resources and financial strength of an established industrial group.
This provides the foundation for Beijer Components’ approach to ownership: local responsibility, long-term investment and the freedom for strong businesses to continue developing on their own strengths.
- The ownership structure
Part of an established industrial group
Beijer Alma is the parent company of Beijer Components and Beijer Tech, bringing together specialist industrial and technology businesses operating in international and Nordic markets.
Within this structure, Beijer Components brings together the Group’s internationally focused specialist industrial businesses, while its individual companies continue to operate with local management, responsibility and established commercial identities.
- OWNERSHIP PHILOSOPHY
Long-term ownership. Local responsibility.
Beijer Alma’s business model is built on the belief that strong companies develop best when responsibility remains close to their customers and markets.
The result is an ownership model that combines entrepreneurial independence with the capacity to invest and develop over the long term.
Local leadership retained
Businesses retain local leadership and operational responsibility, while the Group provides stability, capital, industrial experience and access to a wider network.
Decentralized by design
Companies develop from their own strengths, with management responsible for decisions close to customers and markets.
Capital for long-term development
Investment and acquisitions are supported where they can generate sustainable, capital-efficient growth.
Experience when it adds value
Knowledge, networks and specialist experience can be shared between businesses without replacing local responsibility.
- LONG-TERM OWNERSHIP IN PRACTICE
Built to own and nurture
Beijer Alma grows by acquiring and developing businesses with a long-term ownership horizon. Its focus is on creating the conditions for profitable development over time, combining local initiative with the experience, resources and financial strength of the wider Group.
That same long-term philosophy underpins Beijer Components’ approach to ownership.
Decades of industrial ownership
The industrial businesses that today form Beijer Components have developed within Beijer Alma over decades.
Growth through investment
Organic investment in existing companies sits alongside acquisitions as a core route to growth.
Growth through acquisition

- Scale and strength
The backing to think long term
Beijer Alma’s scale and financial strength provide the stability behind its decentralized model, supporting investment and growth while allowing responsibility for the business to remain close to its management, customers and markets.
